Commission work - Coaster set

A private buyer, inspired by similar coasters I’d made for a mutual acquaintance, commissioned four custom sets, each containing four coasters. To bring a unique twist and a sustainable edge to the project, I repurposed some Perspex sample chips I had on hand, ensuring they didn’t go to waste or potentially end up polluting the environment. By embedding these recycled materials in the resin, each coaster gained a unique, textured design that highlights the beauty of upcycling. The result is a set of coasters that not only serves a functional purpose but also reflects a commitment to sustainability, turning what could have been waste into elegant, eco-friendly decor.
